‘Studio’
Having a clear out of our attic conversion and I found enough space under the skylight for me (and my kitten Suki) to get some proper hardcore watercolouring on the go. Seriously though, the light is perfect and it was really nice to finally blitz a watercolour using my lovely paints and new papers. Next on the cards is a proper watercolour brush.
Other good art news: My very kind Nan is giving me/my family her old scanner. Consequently I will be able to upload a (cropped, unfortunately) high quality version of this finished painting. Might still need to tweak it though because although it had/has potential and is certainly more professional-looking than any of my other watercolour illustrations, is definately lacking something. Tweaking will either be traditional, using translucent washes to adjust the light-colour, or photoshop to fiddle with it. I’ll post it straight here once it’s done.
